Happy hour from 4-6pm. Can cater for parties, etc. Sunday brunch. Car park in rear (entry from Palmetto Dr or S Pasadena Ave).

You know how sometimes you find yourself in a Mexican restaurant where the waitstaff is wearing cheap "regional" attire some corporate non-Mexican thought up to create what they consider "Mexican atmosphere," where the floors, vinyl chair upholstery, and tabletops are all sticky, where the chips have been sitting under a heat lamp and the salsa came from 5 gallon jugs the manager picked up at Smart & Final? THAT, my friends, is Mijares. The food is bad, so why go there when there are so many other (better) Mexican restaurants in the LA area???
